Flip Over Rule

Similar to the 5 second rule, when reaching down to pick up an item of food that you dropped on the ground within the 5 second rule but fumble and flip the piece of food over onto the other side as to contaminate it more, regardless of the 5 second rule it is dubbed uneatable.

man 1: what happened to the last cookie?
man 2: i threw it out
man 1 : why?
man 2 because i was gonna eat it but dropped it on the floor then flipped it over trying to pick it back up.
man 1: gotta be careful, the flip over rule strikes again.

The 1/19 Rule

An excuse used when someone makes a leap in logic with no evidence behind it that leads to the solution of a puzzle regardless.

"Wow Ty, how did you know it was Mr. Red in the dining room with the knife?"
"It was quite simple, I just applied The 1/19 Rule and knew instantly."

The Tip-Toe Rule

When two people meet, usually online in an online chat room, and through common hardships, life experiences, witty humor, and intellect fall in love. Both parties are madly in love, but for for one reason or another are afraid of telling the other party. The tip-toe rule is designed to keep one party from saying the words "I love you" at a time when both are emotionally vulnerable and are afraid from falling off an emotion cliff with no bottom. It is believed by respecting this boundary that these two people will be able to build a relationship meant to endure, and last the test of time.

The tip-toe rule is a rule deisgned and created by two people to protect their fragile relationship. Usually a fool-hearty decision because there are no guarantees of a tomorrow.

"Dexter sat down looking longingly at the object of his affection. His own recently jaded heart wanted to tell the woman of his affection that he loved her with all his heart, but was afraid of falling into the abyss from which he could never climb. In fact, in a series of bad comedies, he unknowingly threw himself down into the abyss by abiding by the tip-toe rule. To this day, Dexter has never been able to find his way out."

Australian Rules football

The worlds greatest sport, also known as Aussie Rules and Australian football.

Fast paced, it incorporates the best aspects of all the football codes and the likes of basketball and boxing (unofficially).

It dates back to Melbourne in the 1800s.

Its premier league is in Australia and is the AFL. Amateur leagues exist in many countries including the USA, UK, Denmark, Germany, South Africa, Argentina, New Zealand and the list goes on.

The first amateur world cup, called the International Cup was held in 2002. The second will occur in 2005.

In Australia it is the prominent sport in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory. The ACT and Queensland are coming around, but Sydney still needs work.

It draws greater crowds than Australia's other football codes on a club level (as Australia only plays Aussie Rules once-yearly in compromise rules against Ireland). The Grand Final draws a crowd of 100,000 people.
