Les Miserables

A play based on a book which was originally written in French. All of the characters, with the exception of Marius and Cosette, die. It is set during the French Revolution. It was originally preformed on Broadway in 1987.

Do you hear the people sing? Lost in the valley of the night. It is the music of a people who are climbing to the light. For the wretched of the earth there is a flame that never dies. Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise. They will live again in freedom in the garden of the lord. They will walk behind the plowshare. They will put away the sword. The chain will be broken and all men will have their reward. Will you join in our crusade? Who will be strong and stand with me? Somewhere beyond the barricade is there a world you long to see? Do you hear the people sing? Say do you hear the distant drums? It is the future that they bring when tomorrow comes.

les paul

The guitar by which all others are judged. The definitive growling sound of Rock and Roll owes it's exisitence to Mr. Paul, whether equipped with humbuckers or P-90's. Les Paul is just another way of spelling Rock and Roll.

les paul

the Gibson Les Paul guitar went into production in 1952 and was the first solid body electric that Gibson had made. And they still make kick ass guitars like the 2 Seymour Duncan Alnico II pro humbuckers which cost like ยฃ75 each slapped into a Gibson Les Paul Custom which Slash has. Gibsonmade a couple and were made from 1996 to 1998. There were a total of 73 made; 75 If you count the 2 Slash owns. Many people around the world admire the quality of the les paul from its crisp sound maximum quality body & neck. Many rockstars use or have used the les paul like; Slash, Joe perry, Jimmy Page, Duane Allman, Brian May, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Duffy, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons, Peter Green, Keith Richards, Jeff Beck and loads more. in my opinion and many other peoples the Les Paul is much more than a guitar its a treasure wether its a studio, standard or custom its still a les paul

Other Guy:what guitar do you have??
Rick: i have a Gibson Les Paul Custom with my own vintage Seymour Duncan Alnico II pro humbuckers fitted in what about you
Other: oh i just have a fender strat
Crowd of people: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Rick: hahaha

le chateau

Canadian chain store, based in Montreal. Sells extremely overpriced "classy"-looking clothes (a lot of business suits and the like). Preppy crap is in the front; goth/punk/weird stuff is in the back. They also sell shoes and some nice jewelry (collars, cuffs, fake pearls). Their problem is the ridiculously high prices: for example, a pretty crappily made corset top costs $40 there. I got pretty much the same top at Urban Planet for $20.

Le Chateau is a good store, but they need to lower their prices, so that more people could buy there, and get more weird clothes, as opposed to prep crap.
