Political Fodder

Cheap news to fill up the stomach with meaningless politics. This is the junk food of politics and most of the 24 hour news cycle is filled with it, to feed the bloated public with too much, and with nothing useful all at once.

I'd become accustomed to consuming a hefty dose of political fodder. I can't remember a single useful fact from anything I read.

Armchair Politics

When you engage in activism from the comfort and safety of your home. Your efforts don't do anything but you think that you're some sort of saint for "believing in the cause".

Look at these kids with their armchair politics. All they do is post little messages on Facebook about bullying. They don't actually do anything about it.

vaginal politics

Vaginal politics refers to the workplace interaction with women, especially when the boss, or supervisor, is a woman. There is no gender bias in this definition, as vaginal politics effect both women and men. Often, vaginal politics involves latent sexual desires, with many hidden meanings and double entendres.

1. The organization was great to work for, the eventually the vaginal politics got to be too much after they replaced my old boss with a female.

2. My job has gotten much easier now that I'm fucking my boss. He never has me do any of the scut work.

Political Speak

The art of changing two way discourse into one-way communication; sticking to the party message no matter what the other is saying. The abbreviation for political speak is BS.

When was the last time you saw a politician give a straight answer to a question being asked of them? Political speak is when a politician is interviewed and asked a question and the politician answers with a response that has nothing to do with the question, but rather propounds the party message on their topic of the day. Thus transforming what was a two way discourse into a one way diatribe with very little if any meaningful content.

Acorn Politics

A condition caused by panic mongering in political circles. The act of panicking the public for the purpose of pushing ahead a false agenda.

An example was first found in children's story "The Sky is Falling" Chicken Little and Henny Penny, panicked when an acorn fell on their heads. Acorn Politics is using the media and popular culture to panic the masses regarding a perceived social ill. examples: weapons of mass destruction, anthropomorphic global warming; Y2K global computer failures

Political Correctness

Some Ranter has it spot on. See their definition.
It started out as a morally correct and rational thing, but has gone way too far, just like many things in our society.

Why dont we all just shove leashes up our arses and sow our lips together because Freedom of speech is a myth.
