An expression that means two or more people throw something to each other repetitively.
Person 1: What are you two doing with that eraser?
Person 2: We're using it to ball around.
Meandering around a store without any intention of purchasing items in order to pass the time.

looking around; moseying around; not looking for anything in particular
“Can I help you find something?”
“Nah, i’m just googling around.”
a conversation ender indefinitely. you say you'll 'see them around' but you know it's probably the last time you'll ever speak to them. an indefinite farewell but you don't want to say goodbye. whether it's a simple 'bye' or a grand gesture, what just feels easier and what'll come out is merely "cya around".
person 1: ok then. it was nice talking to you
person 2: it was.
person 1: will we still be friends?
person 2: i'll cya around.
