A Gray Collar Worker is a member of the service class. While a blue collar worker is a proletarian and primarily manual labour worker (such as a factory worker), and a white collar worker is a bourgeoisie class member (a lawyer).
The Gray Collar Working class does not have the riches of the white collar workers, nor the pride, nor unity of a blue collar worker.
The greatest work on Gray Collar Workers is in the film "Fight Club." It describes the lack of self-confidence, feeling of no masculinity, and the feeling of incompetence with near perfection.

Name provided for 20-something, upper middle class, young professional or graduate student who also "balls". This is different from someone who is "preppy" or a "young trendy professional" or "hipster" in that his or her appreciation for hip hop culture contributes to his or her overall personality, behavioral traits, and personal associations. There has been a rise in "White collar ballers" in recent years, as many students in the "fraternity culture" have drifted from the "good ol boy" and "country music" loving ways of the past, to a greater appreciation not only for hip hop, but its culture, and contribution to the American Zeitgeist.

An epidemic that is spreading across private schools across America. Rich fuckups that feel the need to protect their necks are especially likely to contract Collar Popping Syndrome, or C.P.S. The disease involves a person wearing a button down shirt with the collar flicked up. Not only is this hazardous to personal health but it is also a mortal sin. Anyone, preppy or not, who catches C.P.S. will surely be damned for it.
