An expression used as replacement for saying you did nothing. 'Kicking the chain' can be used as a replacement for generic things e.g; watched tv, played video games, ate food etc.

An disappointment after having wasted a lot of effort on something.

We spent so much time working on Rhapsody in Blue last term, and because of the France Tour, orchestra rehearsals have been cancelled this term so now we'll have to relearn the whole piece next term. It's a real kick in the dick for all of us.

1. To kick a male in the crotch so hard he falls to the ground and then pulling out the lining of the victim's pockets so they look like ears.
Usually followed by a insulting phrase comparing ones penis to an elephant trunk to explain the situation literally. "You just got kicked in the trunk"

3. To pull a male's cock and pockets out of his pants in order to make the crotch region look like the face of an elephant, and then procede to kick the victim in the "elephant's trunk".

Kick the Bucket

Phrase used to say someone is dead or has deceased. Term is derived from when suicides were common by a person preparing to hang themself, and used a bucket to stand on, and then kicked the bucket when suicide was desired.

Ole' Charlie kicked the bucket today, we better prepare for his funeral.
