Arrow to the knee

A phrase that is fairly old but popularized into a meme via the Skyrim quote

"I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee"

It has since found its way into youtube and message boards alike. Where a comment vaguely involving a video on youtube coupled with the phrase "but then I took an arrow to the knee" can attract hundreds of thumbs up.
It has since become more of spam then anything being put everywhere on every video regardless of relation. However it still fits on skyrim videos and is rather funny when paired correctly.

Me: -Browsing youtube-

Me: -reads comments on video about chocolate bar-

Comments: I USED TO EAT CHOCOLATE LIKE YOU BUT THEN I TOOK AN ARROW TO THE KNEE

Me: Okay....

knee-highs

Shorts that only go down to your knee (maybe shorter).
Back in the day, people wouldn't have their shorts down to their ankles like people do now.
Haven't you seen old school ballers from the NBA? Their shorts would be at their knee caps or shorter.

About the example: When Nas first got into the rap game, with the album 'Illmatic' back in 1994, people weren't wearing these huge over-sized shorts that some people do now.

When Nas hit the scene I was still rockin knee-highs - The Game on 200 Bars and Runnin

Knees in the breeze

An expression sometimes used by military airborne personnel to describe the act of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.

The jumpmaster stood up, looked at the wide-eyed group of new recruits and hollered "Come on LADIES...it's time to put your KNEES IN THE BREEZE!"
