Think outside the box

A metaphor that means don't be mainstream, think freely and creatively. Don't just see the obvious, pay more attention to the content. Don't discount anything as unrelated or unconnected. Make an effort to push your thinking up to and beyond its limit. All the talents that you've developed at school should come in handy when you need to beef up your out of the box thinking skills.

Step back and see if the solution to the problems lie outside the box. One must think outside the box.

Think Outside of the Box

Try to solve the problem with unorthodox methods. Consider any idea, no matter how unusual.

Solving the difficult riddle required ideas that came from thinking outside of the box.

I'll think about it

A polite way of saying "absolutely not".

"I'm gonna help Nick move this weekend, he said you can come too."
"How much is he paying you?"
"I'm not doing it for money, he's my friend and he needs a hand."
"I'll think about it."

free range thinking

Thinking that is without boundaries. Coming up with ideas that are innovative, disruptive and would challenge the status quo.

If not for free range thinking we wouldn't enjoy many of the technological advancements that have become part of our everyday lives, e.g. cell phones, satellite communications, internet.

Think Like ฯ€

The mathematical equivalent of thinking like a child, who uniquely looks at the world imaginatively, playfully, or creatively, much to the delight of others who might even experience an aha! moment from their spontaneous response or behavior.

If mathematical constants like e and ๐›ท were to think like ฯ€, by freely and consciously promoting themselves regularly, there is no reason that they couldnโ€™t be as popular and interesting as the beloved beautiful pi.

Thanks ... I think

A response to a complement which is likely backhanded.

Liz: "There are good ass holes and there are bad ass holes. You're a good ass hole."

Maggie: "Thanks ... I think."

Don't think it's sweet

Do not think that everything is okay & straight ...

- because you haven't gotten your ass beat AS PROMISED
- because you haven't received the consequences for your shit talking

(when speaking to someone that KNOWS you don't like them & want to beat their ass, & WILL)

Alicia (or any fake ass bitch who WANTS to be a bad bitch but isn't quite there) - "ummmmm keep my name out your mouth"

A BAD BITCH - "EXCUSE ME? Don't think it's sweet"
