Simp General

The leader of a legion of Simps.

She’s at the command of thousands of white-knights and desperate men, who’ll do anything to protect their queen. They’re ready 24/7 to drown her in complements or swarm her with donations. In return she’ll maybe say their name if they’re really lucky, but the simps know all too well they shouldn’t expect to get anything back from her in return for their service.

You’ll find these Generals on platforms such as Instagram, Twitch and TikTok, along with their army.

Examples of famous Generals: Addison Rae, Madison Beer, Pokimane and Ava Rose

Wow, Madison Beer really has an impressive army. She’s the biggest Simp General out there.

Dude, look at that Simp General over there. She just received a 3k donation and didn’t even react or say thanks to her Simp.

I wonder whose army would win in a battle between those two Simp Generals.

The Tent Generation

Similar to generation y, the demographic cohort following generation x - today's 20 somethings - who, thanks to the state of the world economy, will now be characterised by their life-long inability to earn enough money to be able to afford a house.

Stuart: Man, I can't believe I even bothered going to university, I'm always going to be part of the tent generation.

Ryan: At least you went to university, I have to live in a Euro-hike.

'The Simpsons' Generation

Those who grew up during the 80's and 90's, who are particularly familiar with the cultural phenomenon that is The Simpsons. For many, The Simpsons represents a side of their personality which resides in all persons of that particular age. They will tend to know all of the most famous gags and songs off-by-heart, and will often quote the show on a daily basis. These individuals have grown up appreciating, both, the subtle and exaggerated humour, along with the numerous movie, music and cultural references.

"I was born in the 80's, man. I was there when The Simpsons first started! I am part of, what is known as, 'The Simpsons' Generation."

Armchair General

A person who sits in a chair behind a computer and leads people or at least attempts to, instead of doing it in person. Usually complains about government, organization, military, political, or religious events through blogs, forums, and social networking sites.

Forum administrator2, "nah, they're just a bunch of armchair generals, they won't do anything if it means having to get up and move around."

Generation Z

The laymans term for those of Homelander Generation. Members of this generation are born in 2005 and onward, and are defined by the ubiquity of the internet from an early age. They differ from Millennials (1982-2004) in that their Generations "great obstacle" is not yet realized.

Teachers today have to deal with the horror that is Generation Z

generation y

A cohert of people commonly known as the Millenials, or the Next Greatest Generation. The actual demographics of the birth boom occurred between 1980 to 1994. Meaning those born from the beginning of 1980 to the end of 1993. Those born in 1994 and after are excluded. They are the children of the Baby Boomers (post WW2 1945-1964) and are known as the Echo Boomers. They remember a time before the technology boom of the mid to late 90's and grew up influenced by Cold War Era, the collapse of the Soviet Union, the attacks on 9/11, 1992 Rodney King Riots, the late 80's early 90's recession, the Gulf War, and the Y2K bug. The latest members of Generation Y were born during the presidency of George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the US. They grew up without cell phones, but rather pagers, without Ipods, but rather CD players, without computers, or internet. Internet had only begun to become widespread in early 1994, hence the end of the generation. They remember the early toys of the late 80's and early 90's such as Gameboy, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, N64, Furby, Pogs. Popular sitcoms of the generation include Full House, Saved by the Bell, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Bay Watch, the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Married with Children. As well as cartoons such as Dragon Ball Z, the Pinky and the Brain, Ren and Stimpy, Beavis and Butthead, Doug, the Animaniacs, etc.
