Surplus Value

The value that a working person makes that goes beyond paying their own wage. In a capitalist society, the surplus value is expropriated (taken away from the worker) and becomes profit.

Goddamn bezos stealing my surplus value!!! I swear I'll get his bitch ass (in minecraft)!!!

Western values

Aren't the reason we have A.I. though is it?

Hym "The reason we have it is because a guy who REJECTS YOUR VALUES ENTIRELY figured out how get it to perceive the world. It SEEMS LIKE (and this is a call-back to something I've said previously) your western values are just stealing shit from people who don't share your values and taking credit for shit you didn't actually do. Blatant intellectual property theft I called it. So, as I've said before, you're shit. Your values are shit. Your religion is literally just an attempt to enslave everyone (but it's for the greater good guys! Really!). So, no. You're bullshit institution isn't better than the other institution. I turned the wheel of progress with mine own 2 hands. Your institutions did nothing. You did nothing. And Dave Ruben is a gay jew. GAYVE JEWBEN!"

Crossover Value

When speaking about music that has been remixed from one genre to another, it refers to the amount of potential the new remix has in pulling fans from the original genre base.

A Britney Spears track (primarily pop) is remixed from it's original genre to dubstep. The crossover value of the remix relates to how many people would like or be interested in the dubstep version because they know the original track.

DJs can sometimes get people interested in new genres by playing remixes of popular tracks they know, allowing them to relate to the music and the lyrics since they are familiar to the listener. The ability a remix has to pull in listeners from its original genre can be referred to as the 'crossover value' of the track

Value Supremacy

You're the white supremacist in this scenario. You're values is your religion... And you're religion posits that you have a claim to the land ordained by a supernatural authority that also states that your ethic group was chosen to be the special people.

Hym "It's like if you were a white supremacist and you broke into someone's house and you locked the family that lived there in the basement. And every once and a while, you go downstairs and shoot some of the kids and one day you forget to lock the door and the basement-dad gets upstairs, rapes your wife and daughter, kills your son, and then takes you parents hostage and retreats back to the basement. So, you start lobbing grenades into the basement indiscriminately and people start asking asking questions."

Bystander "What happened?"

Home Invader "The guy I had locked in the basement escaped and he shot up my birthday party and raped my wife!"

Bystander "Wow that's terrible- Wait... Why did you lock that family in that basement?"

Home Invader "Well, I had to put him somewhere after I took his house. But I haven't set foot in the basement for years! The basement-dad is in charge of the basement! Look what he did!"

Bystander "Why is he living in the basement though?

Home Invader "Because God told me I'm and extra special guy and that it should be MY house! So, I broke in and shoved him in the basement and made him live there and shot some of his kids when they protested living in the basement. He's trying to kill me! Why is he trying to do that!?"

Bystander "Ok so you stole the guys house... Trapped his family in the basement.... Killed his kids on several occasions... And you don't understand why he wants to kill you?"

Home Invader "No! Now give me your wallet so I can pay to protect my house!"

Bystander "Your... You mean the house you invaded?"

Home Invader "I have Value Supremacy!"

values performer

Someone who puts their boss' genitalia in their mouth on a daily basis.

That guy is such a values performer. It's no wonder management loves him so much.

Individual societal value erosion effect

or ISVEE; The process where, after somebody dies, society and the government value the person who died less as time passes by. The more time that has passed since the person died, the less society and the government value them as an individual. How rapidly this process occurs depends on how important society viewed the person as being, how they died, and how many close friends and family the individual had.

Person 1: Isaiah was nice guy. Its a shame more people don't remember who he was and how much he helped this community. Its only been five years since he died.
Person 2: Yeah. Unfortunately, a lot of people have forgotten about him and value him that much anymore. He is a victim of the Individual societal value erosion effect, which is very unfortunate.
Person 1: I agree with you there.
