To "do a Colin" is a synonym for any broken promise/lie.
Spawned from the twitter trend #IamColin. In reference to twitter user @cwarr07 who promised to donate 100 pounds to a cancer charity if he lost a bet. He lost and refused to pay. This started a twitter trend where people have been donating on his behalf to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation raising almost 1000 pounds.
John: "Fred promised to help me with moving house last week. On the day he never showed up or answered his phone."

Contrary to popular belief, Colin is /not/ /from/ Canada. He is Scottish, but moved to Canada as a child.
He is a comedian, mostly known for his role (as himself) on 'Whose Line is it Anyway' He is insanely funny. Constantly made fun of for being bald by his fellow castmembers, especially Ryan Stiles and Drew Carey.
Man, did you see Colin last night? He was hilarious.

Possible the greatest current British actor!So v., v. gorgeous! Also quite talented-he has done many more fabulous movies besides Bridget Jones'I & II (although those are great, too!)I really don't see how there is ANY competition between him and Hugh Grant (please....).I quite agree with the previous definition..he is not old! Used to be the greatest joke to ever come to the NFL until Antonio Brown destroyed his own football career. Now he ranks #2 among NFL losers. Thinks he's a vocal hero to the black community for disrespecting the country that has paid him millions upon millions of dollars to play football. Says that America is a racist country yet hails Fidel Castro as a Cuban hero and continues to concoct bullshit ways to look like he is trying to return to the NFL when in reality, he just wants his name returning to national headlines. When team managements express a glimpse of interest in this bum, he shoots their offers down because it's not exactly what he wants.
If he really wanted to return to being an American football player, he would be proud to be an American and he would accept any offer from the NFL. Since neither applies to him, he's just an attention-seeking hypocritical dumpster fire of a loser and a bum and he always will be until he realizes the error of his ways and apologizes for the disruption he caused in the football world.
Colin Kaepernick will never play another NFL game again.
