A lot of people responding in a group text at the same time, resulting in a line of messages posted at the same time. The two-person verb for this phenomenon is sniping.
When someone asked a question about nearby locations, many of the people who responded became slightly confused as their message got lost in the snipe train of answers.

The name McSnipes is commonly used for this same purpose and often put together into one word. Docta McSnipes although it does not sound as cool.
