A high degree of accuracy in a generally editable information system (like Wikipedia) which is derived from the law of large numbers: while some inaccuracies may be occasionally saved into the system, the number of edits per hour with accurate information makes the system "self-healing." Thus, over time these social information systems tend to be statistically more accurate than similar systems published by a closed source, such as a small number of editors.
While Bob's Game Maps are pretty good, the GameMap Wiki tends to have better, more timely information. Because of the Wikipedia Effect, the GameMap Wiki gets new updates to game worlds near real-time, whereas Bob takes several weeks to get his updates done.

The only place that states clearly that they have few rules and any they have can just be ignored! Wikipedia:Ignore all the rules.
Wikipedia has no truth and no reality other than what is published and if you can publish a lie....it's a perfectly FINE reference!

A Wikipedia Administrator is registered user at the online encyclopedia that has a number of "privileges" that allow them to do certain things regular users cannot. Wikipedia Admin are nominated and elected by other editors. They do not moderate the site, as is seen on message boards, as the site itself is maintained by the consensus of all involved or contributing to the discussion of a given subject. They have the ability to remove comments permanently, ban users and do a number of task associated with the encyclopedia when needed.
The Wikipedia Administrator was asked to scrub a comment on the talk that was uncivil and and went against the spirit of Wikipedia.

The act of adding a word or sentence into a Wikipedia article to vandalize the site. Usually done by adding 'cock' or 'bum smuggler' to a body of text.
