Adj. Used to describe a person who is often unpredictable, and may or may not live by societal norms, not by distinct choice but subconsciously. This can create an aura of mystery, as few people are able to get close to them. This description is neither compliment nor insult, as their authenticity is attractive but their volatility is often intolerable/unacceptable.
Adj. "rough around the edges."
My date with Tom was fun and he's interesting but he is too edgy - he was 2 hours late to pick me up and then took me to a completely different restaurant than planned. He was great in bed, but very guarded and I don't see any potential for a long-term relationship.
Edgy is when little kids try to act/look mainstream/cool in public but end up looking like little annoying shits.

They typically gel their hair to the side, and always have some sort of "practice". They wear usually black name brand shoe clothing and say things like "You haven't done _____, that's sad!" or "Oh my gosh so DUMB!". Edgy balls can be exceptional complainers at times. They go hand in hand with Ball and Emo.

An edgy guru is someone who excels in edgyness. They don’t have to make any effort to be cool or stand out it just comes naturally. Activities include tree climbing, being a hooligan and not giving a damn.
