Unlike what everyone says, a homophobe is somebody who has a fear or uneasiness of anything homosexual. They usually do not agree with homosexuality but that doesnt mean they hate the homosexuals, or are nazis that want to kill all homosexuals, it just means they dont like the act.
Plain in simple its the fear or uneasiness of homosexuality.
He is a homophobe because he is uncomfortable being hugged by other guys, without an important reason.

A closeted gay who is ashamed of his/her sexual preference. Usually due to a strict religious upbringing. So they make the openly gay feel subhuman to draw attention away from themselves.
