A fun sport which involves the fast action of basketball combined with the hits of football and hockey. The goal is to move the ball around through set plays or transition offense and shot the ball into a goal. While there is a misconception that lacrosse is gay, its quite the opposite. In lacrosse, the defense is tasked with hitting the other players and playing team defense to take the ball at the other team.
The goalies are probably the craziest players on the field as they stand in the goal with nothing but gloves, helmets and a chest pad and try to stop a shot coming at over 90 miles per hour.
Another misconception is that lacrosse players are unathletic. This is completely false. At lower levels this statement my be applicable but in college, you will find some of the best athletes playing lacrosse. I play division 2 lacrosse and I run a 4.5 40-yard dash and im not even the fastest on my team.
Baseball players: "Why do you play lacrosse, that's so gay, you must not be athletic"
Lacrosse players: "sorry I dont like to stand around for 3 hours trying to hit a ball"
A sport for people who can actually take a hit. All the baseball players think there super good at it. Also requires stamina and skill
Baseball kid: I bet I can score in lacrosse and I’m way better than you.
Lacrosse kid: tell me again when you can throw the ball straight. You probably can’t because baseball kids are gay
The only sport that has over 12 pages of baseball players arguing with lacrosse players over which sport is more gay.
Lacrosse isn't bad, and baseball players can't accept it.
Lacrosse is sport that has any other similar technics like basketball and soccer. It is combined with hockey and soccer and requires a lot of hand eye coordination. If you look at major star girl and boy lacrosse players you will see that they played at least one other sport. Also it is a stereotype that spoiled kids play lacrosse because they would already be scared of the ball hitting their face or if a defense player will check their stick. So to all those people saying bad things about this sport, I would like to see you try.

A sport that dates back to the native Americans and is actually very hard to play. Gets bashed on by people who don't get it or are bad at is and actually has many of the same aspects that the sports that people are comparing it to
