A "group" referring to an allegedly large number of celebrities and their relatives (mostly musicians) who have died at the age of 27. The oldest known member of the Club is a composer named Alexandre Levy (November 1864 - January 1892), although the unusual trend was not noticed until the 1970s.

Current 27 Club members include:

Robert Johnson (May 8, 1911 - August 11, 1938)

Jimi Hendrix (November 20, 1942 - September 18, 1970)

Brian Jones (February 28, 1942 - July 3, 1969)

Jim Morrison (December 8, 1943 - July 3, 1971; his girlfriend at the time also died at age 27 in 1974)
Janis Joplin (January 14, 1943 - October 4, 1970)

Kurt Cobain (March 20, 1967 - April 5, 1994)

Benjamin Keough (Elvis Presley's grandson; October 27, 1992 - July 12, 2020, most recent member as of June 2022)
