cheerleader

not only for girls now a days. its for both chicks and guys. Cheerleading is hard work. they are not all sluts and most of them are really pretty are hot. so what the school needs someone to talk shit about and cheerleaders are probably the only ones who can handle all the shit they get!

cheerleaders dont give a fuck what you say about them! they may bitch back at you but they have more important things to worry about.

cheerleader

A cheerleader can be viewed as a sterotypical WHORE... but on the on the other hand.. not all cheerleaders are whores... Cheerleading is a sport and takes alot of time and hard work to achive great goals. A Cheerleader is a girl or guy who was given a job to rise the spirit of the crowd. Which most students choose to do on their own. But a cheerleader is a person who is more put together for the job. A cheerleader can be a person seen as a bitch or a person who spends most of her time working to achive her goals .. height in jumps, smiles, loud voices, being able to left PEOPLE over their head, remembering counts, pointing toes, well ok so most of the time just looking better than YOU :)

she is so loud she must be a cheerleader!!!

cheerleading

an aesthetic competition that cannot be classified as a sport not due to a lack of difficulty (since jumping around, holding up people who weigh 80 lbs when you weigh 80 lbs, and yelling really loudly are somewhat to very difficult), but because an integer score is not awarded for certain activities (e.g. football - a touchdown is 6 points, baseball - a run is 1 point, etc.)

Cheerleading and figure skating are difficult, but not sports. This is not intended to demean either of these activities, but to place necessary qualifications on certain words.

cheerleading

a sport that should be reconized and respected just like any other sport should.

Cheerleaders Are Athletes
Cheerleading involves cheers, chants, jumps, dance, tumbling, gymnastics, partner stunts and pyramid building. Cheerleaders are not just dance entertainers at games, they have to master difficult and demanding athletic techniques and be effective crowd leaders, often training longer hours than the players they cheer for. During a typical gridiron game players may get breaks, but cheerleaders go flat out for three and a half hours in all weathers.

97% of all cheerleaders are female, however almost 50% of collegiate cheerleaders are male. 12% of cheerleaders are aged 5 to 13 years, and 12% are dancers. The largest growth area is Juniors. 83% in school squads hold leadership positions in school organisations, and 83% have 'B' grades or better. 62% are involved in a second sport.

cheerleading

yes cheerleading is a sport. it fits the definition of a sport. a physical activity requiring skill. can you go out there and throw a full? or even a backhandspring without breaking some part of your body? can you do more than one in a row? how about throw people 10 feet in the air? i didnt think so. physical prowess well you think it doesnt take muscle to flip yourself through the air or hold another person above your head cause it does. a competitive nature cheerleading certainly isnt just standing on the side of a football field anymore. cheerleaders compete. like travel all over the country and go against 30 other teams. i would call that competitive. next time you see cheerleading on ESPN i suggest that you watch it and try to do it without breaking your neck.

try and go to a cheerleading practice
watch them compete
make an attempt to do a flip
lift a person in the air
then try and catch them while theyre spinning

Cheerleader

A healthy, fit female or male who cheers on the sports teams. Usually very nice people, they perform acrobatic feats and other dance routines.

I'm willing to bet the people with negative definitions are simply jealous fat slobby bitches who couldn't get laid if their life depended on it. Put down the fucking double cheeseburger and hit the gym for pete's sake. Stinky nasty fat bitches. You could shower more than once a week too.

Damn, that cheerleader slapped dat bitch!

Fat bitch: Oooh, that cheerleader is sexier than me, I HATE HER! (Runs home and eats half the refridgerator)

cheerleading

a sport for competition season,
not a sport if cheering for football/basketball, etc.

competition: put together a strenuous 3-minute-long routine in which u have to pack in
1: several group jumps
2: many stunts
3: a dance
4: a cheer
5: many tumbling sequences
6: facials

thats a lotta shit to pack into 3-minutes.

football season: have to get the crowd involved, pump up the team and be interested in the game the whole time.
It involves a lot of spirit and overly expressed emotions towards what is happening in the game
probably not as strenuous as competition season, which is probably why it's not considered a sport yet. however, it still involves everything listed below. and you have to memorize a lot of cheers and never-ever mess up in front of anyone, cuase that shit is embarrassing and makes ur team look bad

have to have gymnastics & dance skills
have to be flexible, strong, loud, and mentally organized

it isn't as easy as you dumbass people who dont consider it a sport think.

if u try it... THEN u will understand
there are so many aspects. u dont have to just run and hit people like in football, or a "real" sport.

it involves coordination and technique and strength, PLUS u gotta look good while doing it! SO HA! how easy is that?!

i'm on chicago allstars cheerleading and i practice 6 days a week, at least 3 hours a day. i go to an extra tumbling class so I can nail my full.
i am also in a "for-fun" stunting class

cheerleading is taking over my life
