"LORDY MERCY"
This WAS A SYMPATHETIC TYPE OF EXPRESSION which was used especially in the 1940's & 50's. It meant that the person was so surprised to hear about what you said...possibly something terrible had happened, a death, an awful situation, such as loss of job.
Lordy Mercy, I can't believe that he lost his job, he has been with the company for so many years.
When playing Call of Duty or a similar First Person Shooter and your team is playing so bad that you intentionally lose to end the match quicker.

Merci, one of the most beautiful girls in the world. She’s very shy at first but once you get to know her she can be on crazy lady. She makes a very good friend. One for life you may say.
She’s been through a lot. But always seems to pull through. She’s one of the strongest beings to have ever roamed this earth.
Merci is like a present. When you receive it all you can say is: “merci”
Merci- an angle and more
the few rips you can get from a dying vape.
friend: "awe my vape just died"

To combine all forms of human mating calls into one movement, usually occurring during the early hours, in a nightclub, such as 'Mercy XS' in Norwich. The move usually combines a dance that attempts to display all of the lunger's features as aggressively as possible, whilst also making a move with the express intention of passionately, but not necessarily romantically, kissing the individual, in the hope that they realise that you have gone for it all in one. Other features of this lunge include movement of the legs in a way that might surround the lunged-upon, and a general thrust of the pelvic region. This particular thrust might throw the lunger off-balance and trick the lunged-upon into being the physical relief for that person (literally and euphemistically).
'Did you see Jo last night?'
'No?'
'It was 2.55, we were trying to go home from Mercy, but she just went for it on Gareth and did a Mercy Lunge!'
'Classic Jo!'
OR, can be used depending on location;
'Naomi, are you just going to LCR lunge him then?'
