Extremely brief nap as devised by Catalan Surrealist artist Salvador Dali. He would slide off to sleep in a chair with his arm over the side, holding a spoon over a plate on the floor. The instant he fell asleep, his hand would loosen up and the spoon would fall out and hit the plate with a clatter that woke him up again. He claimed that the brief rest thus afforded him worked wonders.
The boss is coming in the door in twenty seconds. I'd better take a Dali nap.

A very short nap, lasting only a minute or so. Shorter than a cat nap, a nano nap is used to just focus your mind or recharge quickly. You can take a nano nap in nearly any position in any location.
Although nano naps are very refreshing, I don't recommend taking one in your car waiting on a red light.

A power sleep to recouperate before going out for the night. Usually after a hard days work, but before heading out to the dancing.
Mags had a hard day down the IR and needed a wee Disco Nap to prep herself for the night ahead.

Fap-nap: a nap that occurs after the act of hand to schlong masturbation. Sometimes before the clean up has occurred. Used as a way to fight insomnia and a way to facilitate the sleeping process.
I took a fap-nap over lunch break! It was a deep sleep and I feel rejuvenated.

A nap one partakes in after a delightful, filling meal. This type of nap allows the body to prepare for digestion and the following defecation.
Paige, after eating a half-order of cheese fries, nine ounce filet mignon, house salad, and coconut prawns, decides that it is time to drop the Cosbys off at the pool. Before she can execute the drop-off, however, she enjoys a digestive nap to prepare her body.
