As children girls are told stories about knights who save princesses and exist to serve them. They internalize these stories and imagine themselves as princesses. As they grow older they expect every single man they are involved with to play the part of the prince, and many men enable this delusion. This is a culturally enforced narcissistic delusion, that causes women to expect praise and special favors. This will only end when men raise up and hand women a dose of reality. Stop paying for her dates, and stop telling her she's special.
She's hot, but she has a horrible princess complex.

A musical theory in which a musical artist wins several Grammy Awards for screaming random noises into a microphone. This theory is named after Serj Tankian, who can demonstrate the theory very well.
Some guy: Dexter Holland just won a Grammy award for screaming "WOAH OH WOH" into the microphone, what a musical genius!
Another guy: A perfect example of the Tankian Complex!

A psychological disorder characterized by an overwhelming belief, additude or behavior that one has been anointed to a false messianic-like level as to command or demand unquestioning adoration, approval and power.
His narcissistic arrogance, lust for control, and unfounded demand for unearned respect and approval upon rising to a position of authority and power demonstrated he was suffering from an Obama-complex.

A combination of the Oediups and Electra complexes.
In the Oedipus complex, a man has sexual feelings for his mother, and the desire to dominate or kill his father.
In the Electra complex, a woman feels castrated by her mother, and resents her, and has sexual feelings for her father.
In the Electrapus complex, the woman has sexual feelings for her mother, and a dislike of her father.
These complexes are not to be taken literally. Not all men with an Oedipus complex actually have sexual feelings for their mother- most just end feeling desire for a woman that greatly resembles their mother, either in appearance, in personality, or both. Likewise with the Electra complex, and the Electrapus complex.
Girl 1: Man, our new prof is so hot.
Girl 2: But she's so much older than you!
Girl 1: So? I find older women attractive.
Girl 2: You've totally got an Electrapus complex, chickie.

Being in love with the idea of being in love, which describes people who seem to swing from 'vine to vine in the jungle of love' and are always in a relationship even when their choice in partner is clearly not right for them.
"He rebounded and already has a new girlfriend who is totally wrong for him as usual; the guy obviously has a Romeo complex and is just in love with the idea of being in love."

An insanity that usually affects people of small stature. People with napoleonic complex are easily intimidated by tall, muscular people. To make themselves feel 'bigger', they in turn pick on taller, muscular people.
Also called Short Man Syndrome.
Napoleonic Complex was named after the french emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, who overcompensated for his short stature by waging war, often for no reason (???). French people seem to be the main victims of this condition, as Nicolas Sarkozy appears to have it as well.
Angie, who was 6 feet tall at the age of 12, was frequently made fun of by pretty much everyone under the height of 4'11''. to make the most of the situation, she informed the shorties that their anger wasn't their fault, they were simply victims of the Napoleonic Complex.

When a person is looking to get into a relationship, and thinks that everyone with an interest in them could be their prince/princess charming. Someone with a Cinderella complex is said to have terrible luck with relationships (which are usually ended by the complexed person). In search of the perfect fairy tale ending, anyone with signs of interest becomes a potential suitor. The use of the brain is severly diminished.
