The one that got away

A person you had a lot of feelings for and still do. The person you wanted to be worth it and you wonder why it never worked out and if you should have done more, tried harder . In the end you think your over them but no one compares really.

The act of intensely wasting time.
The term pissing, refers to wasting, as piss, is your body's waste fluid... Duh!

I seem to be quite the charm at pissing time away.

lose self-control.

I get carried away when I go shopping and spend far too much money.

when someone (usually a millennial) posts a pic/vidéo on social media, and their bare feet appear on it.

Refers to any person who is not a resident of the state of Maine; a tourist. Frequently shortened to "from away."

"Clearly those New Yorkers were people from away when they asked if they could get to Bar Harbor from here."

A.J Fade-away

Army Jerk Fade-away. Refers to the habit of Australian Army personnel to 'fade away' when having a night out, usually in the form of leaving without saying goodbye to the people they are there with. Often used to describe the habit of Army males leaving the females they have been trying to become romantically involved with.

"Where'd you end up last night, I didn't see you after dinner?" "Yeah I did the old A.J Fade-away"

Cast Away Moment

When you've finally done something that should be so simple to do, but takes you so long to achieve.

(Inspired by the moment Tom Hanks finally made fire after so long trying in the film cast away)

I tried threading a needle but it took me an hour to do this. When I finally threaded the needle, I shouted with joy. That was my cast away moment.
