A term used to special-order a bland version of a dish that is usually made with a level of spice/heat that is perfect for most normal human beings, but which is too overwhelming for some "special" diners' palates.
When we all went out for dinner at The Thai Spice House of Authentic Pain, Claire didn't want to be the wimpy one at our table, so she ordered the "Gaeng Tai Pla Ghost Pepper Volcano", then quietly made Chad chase down the server to get it toned down to white girl mild.
