A preppy girl is always put together. She's got nice skin and her hair is straightened with natural color. She prefers brands like Lilly Pulitzer, J.Crew, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Vineyard Vines, Jack Rogers, Vera Bradley etc. Her family is in the upper middle class to high class. She probably belongs to a country club ad plays golf and tennis. She still calls her father "daddy" and he is probably the CEO of a company. Some examples are Gretchen and Regina, Mean Girls, Quinn, Glee, or Sarah, Outer Banks. She goes to the mall twice a week to get the items that just came into stores yesterday. jewelry is classy with pearls and diamonds and occasionally emeralds or sapphires. She's effortlessly skinny with small breasts like Leah, Teen Mom 2. She strides for the best grades and she's athletic. She's well-known around her town. She most likely goes to a nice school such as a preparatory, lottery, or private school. Her loungewear or sleepwear is always a matching set. She probably has a quilt and matching sleep set from Roller Rabbit. She 100% shopped at Justice when she was younger. Her mother is either strict or doesn't care at all (Regina's mother, Mean Girls). Her family owns a boat. Her makeup is natural. She's got taste and style and everybody calls her a slut because they're jealous of her spectacular grades and money. She's smarter than you think.
Look at that preppy girl over there. I heard her father talking about toaster strudel's stock. Get with her and you're rich for life. Sure, you'll have to play golf with her older brother on the weekends, but it's worth it.

well im sorry to say it but true preps don't drive mustangs and wear abercrombie and fitch. You are obviously talking about public school posers. Its alright to call down a look or lifestyle because in America free speech is allowed but by all means if you hate something or someone at least be 100 percent clear of what exactly a prep is. I am by all means not a prep but I believe in being accurate. TRUE preps do not drive mustangs and wear abercrombie and fitch. There are enough definitions of what a prep really is on this website. I recommend you research the word and find its true meaning.
The guy that drives a vintage mercedes sporting a ralph lauren polo with jcrew khakis is prep. Preps are not flashy. If anything they try to hide that they come from money. Its like the saying goes: if you have to tell people you have money, you don't!

A preppy girl is someone that has class and not slutty at all. Some people have a vision that all preps are snobbing bitches who only hang around with other preps..which is not true in all cases. I myself being a "prep" am not at all snobby nor bitchy so people who are saying all preps are snobby and bitchy are very wrong in there views and need to re-evaluate there mind set on preppy people. Just because preps like to shop at places like abercrombie and hollister doesnt mean they only do it because everyone else does. i personaly like there clothing not just to be "cool" but to look nice and feel classy not scuby.

These are girls without minds of their own. They usually wear mainstream clothing like Aeropostale, Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, et cetera. They sometimes waste all their money at these stores buying the more expensive selections and getting outrageously priced cellphones. In turn, they diss people who have more clothes than them from better places who dress differently. Example: hot topic, express. They have small boobs, large egos, and very small brains. They make fun or belittle others outside the clique. They tend to do more screwing around and getting drunk as hell than worrying about grades, relationships, etc. They also tend to mess with you in groups, then when confronted they either: (1) Lie, (2) Say you're the hater, (3) Selectively remember what they want to, (4) Cry as if you did something (5) or, say that you started it. Don't get me wrong, some preps are nice when you get to know them, but most of them seem to share the same personality characteristics. The best way to get back at them, though is to be different and stand up for what you believe- even if you are the only one left standing, or say something back to them that hits home. The only people that will give this a thumbs-down are preps. Fuck off preps, get a life and get a mind... you are the true hater.
This happens to me a lot, along with my friends. Damn Preppy Girls.
