Speed variations in a turntable,phonograph, or cassette player that cause irritating flattening in pitch with sour notes (wow) and/or garbled notes with jerky sharpening in pitch (flutter). Often heard from poorly manufactured, old, or poorly-maintained audio equipment. In the ages when LPs and audio cassettes were the only audio media available, stereo/high-fidelity magazines often used to rate audio components with wow and flutter specifications ranking at the top of the list.
George, your turntable has some nasty wow and flutter. The music sounds sour. It looks like it needs a new belt around the platter.

A song you listened to while playing World Of Warcraft. Then when you quit World Of Warcraft, and several months later you hear some music you listened to while you were currently playing World Of Warcraft.
"Yo Steve skip the this song" *Steve skips the song* Diamond D "The Hiatus" comes on, and you say "Damn son, you got some WOW music playing."
WoW Weight refers to the weight you put on after excessive/prolonged periods of playing WoW; recently speaking, WoW: Cataclysm.
It's also what you would say after realizing you put on the weight; ie "WOW," due to the fact you put on so much weight from playing.
Joe: looks in mirror Holy balls! Wow!
Joe 2: What is it?
Joe: I've put on a lot of weight, geez.
Joe 2: You bought Cataclysm, right?
Joe: Yeah, so?
Joe 2: WoW weight, gg.
Jim: Man you've got a lot of food. What for?
Jim 2: Just bought Cataclysm, gonna put on some Wow Weight.
