Witches brew is a family term for coffee. The stronger the coffee, the more it deserved the name of "witches brew". I think it got this name from the strong flavor of the coffee and the busy behaviour of people who drink too much coffee.
Mother laughed as she poured the hot liquid she called "witches brew" from the coffee pot into the porcelain mug. "Here", she said, offering me a cup of her famous witches brew.

A Bad Day Brew is when you had a long, exhausting day and you need a drink. You then proceed to have a beer and drink half of it, but you are not in the mood to drink and it pisses you off.
Man! Work was horrible and exhausting. It makes me want a drink. I hope today doesn't continue with some bad day brews.

"The Brew City Flood" the common phrase for the epic flash flood that took place in milwaukee wisconsin, and in other parts of southeastern wisconsin in the summer of 2010.
There were sink holes in the streets.
There was so much water that you couldnt tell where lake michigan end or where it started.
Homes were flooded out, and thousands lost power for days.
Imagine being able to swim in the middle of the street.

An ice beer made by the Genesee brewing company for the Stewarts corporation in the Northeast. Although it tastes like aluminum, it is generally considered an excellent beer for the price. As of 2011 it costs $0.75/can, $3.53/six pack, and a little over $13 for a case (includes tax and deposit).
