paste-book

How one might refer to facebook if out of their hundreds of facebook friends they are unable to name 10 offhand. It derives from the friends seemingly having been copied and pasted off other people's profiles.

A: How many friends have I got now on paste-book?
(A logs on)
A: Yippee, I've got 1000 now 30 accepted in the middle of the night.
(A Logs off)
B: Aren't you going to have a look at their profiles?
A: Nah.

Book Hangover

Getting so emotionally invested in a book that you think about it for days on end. Characterized by sadness experienced when the book is over and the realization that one will never have the opportunity to feel the way they did reading it for the first time.

I finished reading the last Jhumpa Lahiri novel and have the worst book hangover.

Book Please

A phrase used to describe how excruciatingly average something is. Related to "Cool story bro."

It can be used to piss someone off if they're telling a story.

Parker: OMG! I just hit a ladder shot, 360, YY, cross-map, no scope on highrise!!!!1!!11!1!11!!!11!11!!1!111

Brennan: Book please.

Book Drunk

Book drunk- adjective, describes studying for so long that you are slightly out of your mind and a little crazy, almost like being under the influence of alcohol, but only having soda and coffee that day like a white girl college freshman.

Jade is currently book drunk from studying for anatomy for 6 hours, which is why she created this stupid word and posted it on the internet.

BOOK-JACKET

The long lost art of placing a stick-mag inside a copy of a novel so as to appear to be reading distinguished literature, but in reality providing one with the oppurtunity to further indulge in depravity.

My English teacher was rediculously hungover this morning, so he forced us sit and read Othello, which I book-jacketed with a vintage 1991 copy of Asian Dolls.
