A channel/former block from Cartoon Network that specializes(or at least used to specialize)in showing classic cartoons from the 60s, 70s, 80s, etc. Before the 2014/2015 rebrand, the channel had different blocks, such as Boomeraction and Boomerang Theater. It also used to show WAY more obscure content, like Jabberjaw and Heathcliff. In 2014, it was announced that Boomerang was being rebranded, and later in 2014(2015 in US), the rebrand was sent out, and that rebrand started the downfall of the channel. Although the channel was in decline years before this rebrand, the rebrand itself really made the downfall more apparent. For one, most of the original programming was gone from the channel, such as Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Atom Ant, Top Cat, and many more. This rebrand also replaced the classic and iconic toy style bumpers with generic, 2010s style bumpers, which many people were not happy about. Although the decline of the channel has slowed during the years after the rebrand, the channel doesn't seem to be getting any major changes in it's schedule or its programming. Most of the time nowadays, it's Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes, with some Scooby Doo and some other cartoon in between. At 11:00PM is when they actually show classic shows from Cartoon Network and Hanna Barbera, but most people would be asleep by this time, so its kind of weird why they do this. Honestly, it isn't looking good for the channel at the moment, hopefully it gets better soon.

Launched as a sister network to the well-known "Lifetime" cable channel. It started in June of 1998 and nothing much has changed about the network other than the network expanded the movie time slots from 105 minutes to 120 minutes to accomodate more advertising. It professes through its network promos that it shows movies "24/7" although every morning at 2:30 there is a slew of infomercials. The overall theme of the network is simply movies for women and to a marginal extent "female empowerment". A good portion of its movies come from the original Lifetime network, others are made-for-tv movies from other networks, and there are some (but few) select theatrical films. All the movies aired on LMN have at the very best C-grade cinematography, C-grade acting, C-grade script, and just has an overall "generic" feel. The types of movies LMN shows is just drama and only drama but to appear more "sophisticated" the LMN online schedule breaks down Drama into several sub-categories such as "Inspiring, Love/Lust, Justice, Thrilling, Madness, and Vengeance". The whole network is like an analogy of a soap opera. Every movie has pretty much the same concept but different version. The overall plot formula for these movies is: woman or woman's family member gets into a situation throughout the whole movie the woman and/or her family members struggles to overcome the problem. Bottom line, the network just shows a bunch of garbage that is no different than reading cheap romance novels or the National Enquirer.

If you don't want to drive down to Hollywood video or rent a movie via Netflix then by all means just kill 2 hours by watching a movie on Lifetime Movie Network if you can stand the cardboard characters and storyline.

A TV Network where series that have "jumped the shark" go to die. The network offers assisted cancellation to help a show through its final episodes, then when all agree the time is right, a plastic bag is placed over the show's head, and helium tanks are turned on.

The Social Network Status Tease (SNST) is a ditzy bitch who can do no more than post “cute” little sexual comments and jokes on their MySpace and/or Facebook page, with the hopes that they will get a long thread of “cute” little sexual responses from guys (most likely Shirtless Profile Asshole, Mustang Asshole, or Crotch Rocket Asshole).
SNST’s only creativity in life is the ability to use common, everyday terms in some kind of sexual reference. SNST also LOVES to post pics which emphasize their boobs. Their face may be a wreck, but their cans have GOT to be the attention of the photo. SNST will post from their home, school, work, the store, or anywhere else in order to satisfy their piss-poor self-esteem.
Nobody with any moral character at all wants to see the posts from SNST. They are predictable and oh-so-common. SNST often announces the bar at which they are going that evening, with the hopes that local male assholes will also go to that same bar. This makes for an entire evening of free drinks, and ego-boosting flirting for SNST.
Social Network Status Tease won't have very many ways to attract attention when time takes its toll on their face and body. Luckily, loser "social network guy" doesn't care that the face in SNST's profile doesn't really match the face in person. For the time being, however...its free drinks and filrting fo SNST !!!!
