The awkward dance between two people as they try to pass each other on narrow staircases
Hey man. Sorry I'm late, got stuck in a stairway shuffle on the 3rd floor.
Irregular spasmodic and convulsive dancing performed by the natives of County Cavan. Lacking rhythm, shteamin', on the dance floor, moving from side to side with feet in repetitive pattern, while head and torso exhibit what can only be described as an epileptic fit.
Down the local dishco, there's many a boy at the Cavan shuffle hi.

To move about from place to place. Specially when in Waltham, broke, between jobs, and between housing.
Did The Waltham Shuffle when between jobs. Out of theMansion, first stop,Mickey-D's or may be the Common Grounds. After a while, ready for a nap at the gay church near moody(might take a nap at the library.) Already dinner time? 'tis time to go to the Cantina on Moody (not far from the gay church). A dance done by people who just saw something very sentimental. It makes them so happy but at the same time is jealous of the person.

Pretending to forget items on the bottom rack of the shopping cart. The items are often missed by the cashier and never paid for.
