Samurai, you were the love of my life and you never came.
I loved you so much. Wanted to feel your arms around me every night. Kiss you softly every day. Look into your eyes and tell you I feel your everything to me and all I ever wanted in life, for the rest of my life. I miss bell's cold nose on my face and you kicking her off the bed. Fussing at you to be nice. now, all that is gone. You walked for another and left more than just me. Not one birthday. Not one effort to see us. You ran like a grunt away from the fire and threw it all at us. Not once did you come for us. I, for the longest time blamed my self for it all. Until I knew the truth about you. Samurai's are not cowards.

An anime made in 2004 by Sunset Studios, and directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, who is considered by many to be a god among gods in the anime world. Shinichiro Watanabe and his brainchild Sunset Studios are also the same people who have made Cowboy Bebop.
Samurai Champloo follows the adventures of Jin, a ronin.. Mugen, an Okinawan criminal... And Fuu, a former waitress who has made both Jin and Mugen to promise her find a 'samurai who smells like sunflowers'. The anime's underlying musical theme is hip hop culture, whereas Cowboy Bebop's was Americana and bebop jazz.
Damn, Samurai Champloo is gonna be AWESOME

A longer than average 'manbun' that results in a pony tale like flop. This haircut, worn in combination with a beard, results in a style similar to Chonmage (δΈι«·, γ‘γγγΎγ) and closely resembles that of the hairstyle worn by ancient Japanese Samurai.
This image has become popular amongst young adult men and is synonymous with the concept of contemporary 'hipsterification' taking place in predominantly regenerated urban areas (particularly in London).
Matt: "Hey Sam, isn't Jay's manbun cool."
Sam: "Yeah, bloody Shoreditch Samurai!"
Mugen is a fierce animal-like warrior with a unique Bboying (break-dance) inspired fighting style. Jin has a more traditional style but donβt think of this as a weakness because his skills are amazing. The two contrasting samurai warriors are far from friends, yet their separate paths seem to cross anyways. Mugen is wandering aimlessly through the city when he stumbles upon a teahouse where he meets Jin and Fuu (A ditzy waitress, but donβt think she doesnβt have anything hidden up her sleeves). Fuu convinces them both to come with her in search of a mysterious samurai that smells like sunflowers and their journey begins. This modernized hip-hop tale breaks the barriers of the common, historical, samurai anime.
