Term used in large-scale internet role playing type games (MMORPG's). Short for additional. Denotes the arrival of an "add", or additional NPC character, usually one that has entered "aggro range" and joined the current fight.

add (Attention-Deficit disorder) is a highly contagious disease that you can get from a public toilet seat or butt sex. Symptoms; Failing to pay close attention to details, Forgetfulness, the random yalling of "Wauuuuuuuu!", Fidgeting, Leaving seat often, and Answering a question before they are finished

It's what makes you lose focus when people are explaining things to you very quickly. A person with ADD may refuse to ask questions, as it may reveal his or her disability. The only way one can temporarily cure ADD is to drink Red Bull, whose side effects may include symptoms of ADHD.
