The best AFL team in the country, the only people that support this team are nice, wealthy and healthy people that have nice houses. Most Australians don't like them, mostly because they are jealous of their rich heritage and how much skill the players have. They are the only team in history to win 4 premierships in a row and that is a feat that no other team could possibly beat apart from the team who set that record - the Collingwood Football Club!

In the game of Australian Rules Football, a free kick that is awarded by an umpire for no apparent reason. So called because they are most often awarded to players of the Collingwood Football Club. Also, a free kick awarded to a Collingwood player when one should rightly have been awarded to the opposition.
Collingwood player attempts to take a mark, drops the ball, is awarded a Collingwood Free Kick anyway.

The Collingwood Wave is how all Collingwood fans (And ALL Victorians in general Monday - Friday anyway) prefer to greet each other, whether that's sending an opening gesture, or receiving one.
The wave is performed by bending over infront of another, presenting your rear end, looking back and flapping your hand in a welcoming motion to the desired recipients to come and take you from behind whilst you look back at them over your shoulder with a smile.
Innocent observer: "Um what's that cunt in the magpies hat doing? Does he want to get bashed?"
Observers Victorian friend: "Oh that's the Collingwood Wave, we always try and present like that if we think we see someone we know, but just remember it's reserved for Collingwood fans on match days"
This term is applied when a person in your company is sacked / made redundant with no explaination from management as to why or indeed if they have been let go. First came into existence circa July 2011 at a company based in central England.
