Quickscoping

A cheap tactic in Call of Duty games whereby a sniper pulls up his scope when near an enemy and fires just as the aim assist kicks in, resulting in the aim assist dragging the scope to the target and giving the sniper an easy kill. It basically removes the need to aim the gun. This tactic was popularized by YouTubers in the early 2010s, resulting in legions of socially-maladjusted pre-teens, teenagers and twenty-somethings, who were desperate to seem cool, adopting the tactic en masse. One of the biggest reasons for CoD’s decline, as 90% of players online these days are either hacking or quickscoping. They insist it takes skill, but they always refuse to turn off aim assist when challenged, thereby proving that the aim assist does all the work.

Wouldn’t it be great to see them try to fire a real sniper rifle that way?

I’d like to see all these losers go to the Middle East and try quickscoping.

Their mind was quickscoped by their mom with a clotheshanger when they were a fetus so they think its "cool," "funny," "epic," or in other words acceptable.
