Gillie Radge

A Gillie Radge is a native of Gilmerton who has lost their marbles and does not conform to normal social standards. Can also be referred to as a Nutter, Fruitloop or Bam.

A senior Gillie Radge is partial to the Gillie 2-Step and can often be found hanging around in the Club practising their moves at closing time.

A junior Gillie Radge tends to congregate with other mischief makers and are collectively known as the YGT (Young Gillie Team).

She never stops talking; she's a right Gillie Radge.

You can take a Gillie Radge out of Gilmerton but you can't take Gilmerton out of the Gillie Radge.

Once a Gillie Radge, always a Gillie Radge.

It's easy to lose track of what a Gillie Radge is up to as they try to do everthing all at once.

He's a proper Gillie Radge - stay clear off him.

That Gillie Radge can't string a sentence together as they've overdosed on the cough medicine.

He's been out on a 4 day bender; he's such a Gillie Radge.

Gillie-Radge

Someone from Gilmerton who has lost their marbles and does not conform to normal social standards. Can also be referred to as a Nutter, Fruitloop or Bam but Gillie-Radge encompasses all those definitions into one.

She hasn't stopped talking for hours; she's such a Gillie-Radge.

He's been ducking and diving for years like a true Gillie-Radge.

You would have to be a real Gillie-Radge to turn up drunk at the airport at the spur of the moment to take the next available stand-by flight to visit your friend in another country.

That Gillie-Radge went on a 4 day bender.

That wouldn't surprise me as they're a Gillie-Radge.
