Sash Off

An alternative way to say "f*ck off". Sash, meaning "f*ck", is a more appropriate and publicly acceptable word with which one may curse.

Guy 1: *being a f*cking dickwad*
Guy 2: Ahhh! Sash off!

sash mob

A gay takeover of a straight bar, where they break down barriers and get Sasha Fierce!

We were both surprised and overjoyed to have a sash mob takeover the dive bar on the corner. There was glitter, rainbows and abs everywhere.

Sash!

Sash! is a group consisting of 3 members, Sasha Lappessen, Thomas LΓΌdke, and Ralf Kappmeier. Sasha is the one who appears in the videos and performs live. The first single released was "It's My Life". But the success started with the second record "Encore Une Fois" which is a powerful dance hit, and raced through the club charts in Italy, Germany, Holland and the Scandinavian countries.
The third release was "Ecuador" which proved to be as strong as it's forerunner and was a No. 1 hit in the Scandinavian Dance Chart and also made it to the
Top 5 in the sales charts in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. It was also on the Top 10 Music & Media European single charts.

In the summer of 1997 the debut album "It's My Life" was released.

The fourth release was "Stay!", which is also a powerful dance hit in the same style as the previous two hits.

1998
Sash! released a single in March 1998 called "La Primavera".
This single was the first one from their second album "Life Goes On".

In July Sash! released a song called "Mysterious Time" and it featured Tina Cousins ("Angel", "Killing Time") on vocals (this single lead to Tina Cousins breaktrough).
It's a very typical Sash! song with strong synths and great vocals.
On August 17 the longawaited album "Life Goes On" was released.
The album contains 11 songs including the hits "La Primavera" and
"Mysterious Times" and one Hit Mix mixed by Oliver Momm.

In late 1998 the single "Move Mania" featuring Shannon was released.

1999
Sash! released a single called "Colour The World" in January 1999, and it features non other than Dr. Alban on vocals.
On November 22, 1999 the hitsingle "Adelante" was released and it was the first single from the third album
entitled "Trilenium".

2000
On March 20, 2000 the single "Just Around The Hill", again featuring Tina Cousins ("Mysterious Times", "Angel")
on vocals, was released.
On April 3, 2000 the third album "Trilenium" was released, it contains 14 chilling dance tracks in the ordinary Sash! style.

On April 24, 2000 the vinyl "Trilenium" was released.

The single "With My Own Eyes" was released in the UK on August 28 and in the rest of Europe on September 4th.
The single features the finnish singer Inka on vocals. The single also included the song "Rock The Block".

To make it more confusing "Together Again" was released in Denmark and Spain instead of "With My Own Eyes",
the reason for the Danish release is probably because the singer on "Together Again" is the danish artist Bla Ojne.

Sash! made a remix of Dani's "The Meaning of Love". There are 2 remixes on the Maxi version.
It was the first Sash! remix this year.

Sabine Ohmes (singer on "Encore Une Fois") released "Le Soleil Noir" with her soloproject Encore.

In November 13, 2000 Sash! released the greatest hits album entitled "Best of - Encore Une Fois" featuring the
best hits and the Oliver Momm's Hit Mix version 3.

2001
Shock and Multiply Records decided to go ahead with a release of "It's My Life" in March 2001 in Australia.
Because "It's My Life" (the single) was only released in a handful of European countries, Shock and Multiply have
decided to cash in on Sash!'s current success in Australia and release the song as a single.

2002
The single "Ganbareh" was release on June 24th, 2002. This single was the first one from the album "S4! Sash!".
The "Ganbareh - Remix Edition" single was released on July 1st, 2002.

Sash! released a called "Run" featuring Boy George on September 26th, 2002.

The album "S4!" was released on October 21st, 2002.

2003
The singles "I Believe" and "I Believe - Remix Edition" was released on March 31st.

My favorite song by Sash! has tobe 'Habibi' or maybe 'The Sunset'.
'Dont Be So Rude' would deffinitely be umung the top ten along with 'The Final Pizzi'
