do you trust me game

A game usually played between a new couple, used as either a way to see how far you can go with said person, or just as a time passer, the object is not to get the other person to say, no i do not trust you, the object is to get as far as you can without the person saying i don't trust you.

Sit your girlfriend beside you, ask to play the do you trust me game, put your hand on her knee, ask her if she trusts you, and if she says yes, move your hand up her leg slightly, same idea for a girl playing on a guy.

Trust Me, I know what I'm doing

A phrase often usd by people who don't really know what they're doing.

This catch phrase was often used by the 80's TV cop Sledge Hammer right before he does something that results in some sort of catastrophic event or disaster.

Captain Trunk: Sledge, you cannot disarm that nuclear bomb!

Sledge Hammer: Trust me, I know what I'm doing.

(A nuclear explosion ensues thus ending the season finale of Sledge Hammer)

Trust Me, I know what I'm doing

what republicans say when voting on a bill, always wrong.

Donald Trump likes to project, "trust me, I know what I'm doing", but that is only in reference to promoting himself.

You don't trust me with your puppy on a leash look.

The look given when someone is denied a seemingly innocuous right of friendship becuase of a lack of trust.

"No, I won't change in front of you. . . and don't give me that 'You don't trust me with your puppy on a leash look."

I'm/he's/she's a Christian, so you can trust me/him/her

All the more reason not to trust the person... if the fact that someone is a "born-aginner" even has to be mentioned, then there must be something less-than-honest/honorable that said supposedly-clean-living person has to hide --- "methinks he doth protest too much"!

I have seldom if ever had any more luck with the honesty/integrity/consistency/reliability/kindness of someone about whom I was solemnly assured that, "I'm/he's/she's a Christian, so you can trust me/him/her"... in fact, if anything, these stuck-up Bible-thunpers often seem to be even BIGGER a**h**es than their "non-believer" counterparts! They think that "God will forgive them" for anything they do, and so they make little true effort to keep their word or otherwise treat their fellow humans with even basic decency.
