Short for "Yonge & Eglinton, the main intersection of Midtown Toronto. It can be used to refer to the immediate surroundings of the intersection (like the mall) or any area north of Davisville, west of Mount Pleasant, south of Blythwood and east of Avenue.
Person 1: Dude, wanna go to Yeg after school?
Person 2: Yeah, let's go!
Yeg can be used as a way to say yes, however it can be used to describe something better than just good, nice, or pleasant.
Yeg may not be used with punctuations like ! or ? as it only holds meaning when used in a very unemotional way. When using it in an emotional situation, yeg must be the only flat word making it stand out more. This will increase the value of how good you want to make it sound.
Antonym: Nyeg
1) Describing how nice or pleasant a person was.
Ex.
Man, that guy was yeg.
2) Replace yes
Ex.
A: “Wanna get on Helldivers 2?”
B: “Yeg.”
