Like a yart in a sense of the being the past tense for yeet. However, something becomes a yort when it is a past-tense yeet that falls short of the intended target.
Dude 1: Man did you just yort that bag of rocks at that tree
Dude 2: yeah I was aiming for that other thing
Jerry: Hey dude did you see how I yeeted on Tim last night?
John: Yeah, I saw that, but I believe the proper term for the past tense of yeet is yort.
