Semi meaning half of, decent meaning kind of good. Two words formed to make a compound word, being semi-decent. Half of pretty good.

Describes when someone is able to make a pretty loud clapping sound with their balls as they sway their hips in a rapid back and forth motion.
This method is commonly practiced in all parts of the world among males in locker rooms. Usually the lights are off, but sometimes, depending on sexual preference, they are left on. The person with the most decent clap is then determined.

An exclusively Southern phrase that describes good common sense. Almost always used in the the negative form to describe an action that is silly, or lacking common sense. As in "any decent grits" or more often "no decent grits".
Me: I sent another text to the wrong person, AGAIN! I hate this phone!
K: Girl! Don't blame your phone, you ain't got no decent grits sometimes.

A term used to describe someone who isn't necessarily bad-looking, but not attractive enough to be considered good-looking.
Person A: Hey, do you think person C is hot?
Person B: Nah, but I wouldn't say person C is ugly, though. Person C is decent-looking.
