A slang term refering to people of Asian ancestry. The term comes from the fringe belief that Asians are the result of dragon/human interbreeding eons ago. These human/dragon hybrids (aka Asians, or simply dragons) have evolved to be impervious to lung cancer regardless of how heavily they smoke since they have dorment fire breathing genes. Also modern day human/dragon hybrids possess the ability to fly however no non-dragon has ever witnessed that feat first hand. This is the ancient Chinese secret everyone refers to.
I thought I was going to fail math; luckily my study partner is a dragon. Apparently calculus comes to them just as naturally as breathing fire.

A mythical creature present in both western and eastern legends. Usually scaly, serpentine, have wings, and a crest of some kind.
Western legends show dragons in a fairly negative light. Most of the legends of dragons show them as fearsome, merciless beats who devour maidens, destroy villages, and keep hoards of treasures for which numerous knights attempt to slay the dragon in quests for either righteousness or personal wealth.
Eastern legends, however, show dragons in a much more positive sense. In most eastern areas, especially China and Japan, dragons are sacred beings of a snakes body, wings, a deer's antlers, and numerous other parts from other creatures rather than the modern day scaly, winged beasts. The eastern dragons are revered with honor and are considered symbols of wealth, strength, intelligence, and overall near-perfection.
The modern day dragon usually encapsulates the fearsome, strong, and proud looks of western myths and the intelligence, holiness, and strength of dragons in eastern myths. However, most dragons nowadays are used as signs of strength, majesty, honor, intelligence, etc.
A dragon is not a dragon unless he breaths fire.
If dragons existed, this world would be complete.

A synonym for balls to the wall or in it to win it, "in it for the dragons" can be applied to anything that one does with abandon or to the extreme. It also has the connotation that one is committed to this level of action for the long haul. Implied in the phrase is the understanding that the zeal with which one is pursuing their chosen activity is sufficient to bring extinct mythical creatures back to life.

You may not know it but dragons are very popular. Dragon came from the greek word meaning Draco, around 2600 bc.They have thought to be big lizards with wings and can breath fire, but they are NOT lizards.Because dragons are homiothermis(I'm not sure you spell it that way) reptiles.Thier appearence consists of a large camel shaped head with horns protruding from behind the ears. They have a long neck and very muscular legs and feet shaped like an eagles with very sharp talons/claws. They are covered in scales ranging from a deep black to a unicorn white. They have very long tails and bat-like wings(2)sprouting from just above the shoulder. They have very sharp canine teeth and forked tounges. All along thier bodies they have spines and can produce magic sometimes. A lot of people think dragons are bad but some aren't.They are mostly good, and all of them love treasure and has a habit for stealing it.
A Wyvern is a type of dragon but it's the biggest type of dragon and its' wings are it's arms.

the first six entries above discribe creatures, who's existance has been proven by the fossil record of the earth but which fall under a different name, one which has yet to be associated with the word Dragon, for what ever reason. That name is Dinosaur i.e. the Dragons of legend are Dinosaurs.
Dragons where assumed to be a mythological creature, however through studies of the myth compared with actual historical evidence, the myth of dragons can be best explained by giving them the name Dinosaur.
