To love, but not usually in regards to a person. Less emotional than the oft-abused use of 'love' for inanimate objects or ideas.
Origin: Use of a stylized heart symbol in place of the word "love" in writing, particularly on t-shirts and bumper stickers. I <heart> New York may have been the most popular one.

The bass sound you can hear when you lay your head on your boyfriend/girlfriend's chest, which is something that is done in a romantic setting. This can be done by boys or girls or nonbinary to boys or girls or nonbinary.
It is also something doctors do to check in on your health.
I lay my head on Jake's chest and I could feel his heart thumping.

A stupid way to say that you love or like someone.
It seems like no one understands that the heart is only the organ in your body that pumps blood. And the organ which stores your feelings is your brain...
What is badly said -> "You'll stay in my heart forever <3"
What should be said -> "You'll forever stay in my brain"
