Additional info: “Pardon” itself can be used instead of just asking “what”.

Jacob: Pardon the fuck?
Josh: Wow, you‘re so polite.
Jacob: Yes, I indeed am.
Something you say when you don't hear what someone said. Or when in disbelief of what you've just heard.

A pass to do anything as long as it's "under the blanket" (no holds barred). Could start off as just snuggling, but end up in explicit activity (i.e Netflix n Chill).
Him: Is it possible to get a blanket pardon on the first date?

A confused President suddenly absolves the criminals of their sins and issues a Presidential Pardon so they are freed.
Embarrassed Presidents issue a Presidential Pardon in the face of confusion.
