Ratio

On Twitter, your following-to-follower count is called your ‘ratio,’ most people, especially on stan twitter, strive to have what’s called a ‘skinny ratio.’

What makes a ratio skinny? Having an impressively high amount of followers while simultaneously following very little people. An example skinny ratio is “78 following, 3.5k followers.”

But what about a fat ratio? A fat ratio is the complete opposite of a skinny ratio! For example: 3.5k following, 78 followers.

Ratios can be the make-it-or-break-it on the impression of your account.

User @BUTERAKIWl has such a skinny ratio! What a legend!

Here’s what twitter user @Rauhlag had to say about ratios:
“If u think it's cute to follow 34 people and only have 100 followers u need a reality check Cause it's dumb like Twitter is for u to follow people y'all are the reason Twitter is so shitty now cause y'all think it's so good to have a ratio like bitch GTFO Twitter with that goofy ass shit . No it's not ugly we just follow people back and don't have big eggos like some ppl it's not that serious it makes u look dumb . Ur not Beyonce like stop it ur just a Stan acc . If anything u should be trying to gain followers .”

The Ratio

the balance between the level of attractiveness and the level of asshole-ness. In short, the hotter you are the more tolerable and common dick-like behavior is. However, there are exceptions. Specifically those who seem to have a distorted self image and think they are the shit when in reality they simply look like shit. Lower levels of attractiveness can be compensated with: good sense of humor, intelligence, or kindness. But the ratio must remain balanced.

John does not adhere to The Ratio, he's fat and ugly and yet he continues to act like a douchebag. He is upsetting the ratio and is thus disgustingly unattractive.

ratioed

(In context for Instagram); When a user who comments on a post has a reply to that comment that gets more likes than the original comment. Any comment is “ratioed” when the likes on a reply to that comment outnumber it.

*User @snowflake.em a comment on a post; gets 540 likes
*another user @codeinedream replies to that comment; gets 2540 likes on that reply
“Bro @snowflake.em just got ratioed hard on @codeinedream’s post”

The Ratio

The number of men compared to females. The ratio should be taken in to consideration to avoid a sausage fest.

Person 1 "Did you go to Jacobs yesterday it was a sausage fest"

Person 2 " They obviously didn't take the ratio in to consideration"

Ratioed

When a reply gets more likes than the original tweet or post, usually a sign of superiority of the replier and a moment of utter embarrassment for OP

Tweeter: I think Pineapple belongs on Pizza *7 likes*
Replier: Ratioed *771 likes*
