The most lit show on Netflix. A lot of people binge it and make edits on Instagram. It's TV-14 and there is some cursing. There is some jumpscares, inappropriate scenes, sci-fi related things, and 80's stuff.
Friend: "Dude, have you watch Stranger Things, yet?"
Person: "Yeah it's really good that I'm binge-watching it and boy, doesn't get stranger?"

So, this show is an unusual show ( object or item ) Therefore, Stranger things means Odd/abnormal objects/items.
