n. A very large issue that everyone is acutely aware of, but nobody wants to talk about. Perhaps a sore spot, perhaps politically incorrect, or perhaps a political hot potato, it's something that no one wants to touch with a ten foot pole. Sometimes pink elephant in the room.
The degeneration of parental responsibility in this country is the elephant in the room, but no one in Washington wants to address it.

Waiting Room is the virtual limbo of seemingly never ending hold music you are often sent to when calling a help desk, business, or Government agency. Waiting Room is the act of putting someone immediately on hold as soon as you answer the phone without them realizing anyone picked up. This process takes an experienced and dexterous phone analyst. This practice is most commonly used by receptionists and call center agents. It is used as a way of circumventing or improving 'call in queue' stats or simply as a way of stopping the insecent ringing of one's phone. The best waiting room analysts can put unsuspecting callers in the waiting room without so much as a blip in the hold music.
hey, can you get that call? It's been sitting in queue for like 10 minutes?" "I'm too busy but not to worry I think Sandeep just put it in the waiting room.

A depression room is an excessively messy room that's a result of months or possibly years of neglect due to mental health, usually depression. Common objects you can find in this room are rotten or molding foods, plastic wrappers, used dishes, mountains of clothes, bugs/insects or small animals (yes, it is very common to find little creepy crawlers in depression rooms), general trash and cluttered things.
The reason it's neglected to be cleaned is because the person who has depression or other mental health issues finds no motivation or better reason to clean their room. It's going to get messy all over again, so what's the point?
There is no shame in having having one of these. People with mental issues are going to find themselves in one of these at some point.
You, realizing this definition matches your living space: Oh shit, I have a depression room.
The place people go to get it on.
Aka the boner room
