A software project management term. "Punt Time" is defined as the total time spent across the team in not doing the work. For example, if a developer opens up the issue, reads it, talks to a few people about it, and then decides to work on something else instead, the time spent doing these activities adds to the Punt Time for the issue.
The Punt Time of that bug got so damn large that I decided to just fix the bug so that I can stop attending meetings about it.
Used as the name of a vague sexual act, most often to cover up the fact that one's claims about his or her sex life are contrived.
"Dude, I totally hooked up with that girl from across town again last night! It was pretty kinky."
"Oh really? What'd you do?"
"What'd I do? Oh, um, dude, I was totally...punting the snail."
A Puntard is a gambler who thinks he knows how to gamble/punt but couldn't pick a winner if it was a booger in his nose.

The season around the end of the year where one puts off doing work related tasks and punts them into the start of the new year.

Punt Game is Sport mostly played with 3 or 2 people and where the 1 snapper snaps the ball to the punter, the punter tries to kick the ball while the snapper turn around and turns into a rusher and tries to block the kick so rusher can score. if the snapper (rusher) does not block the kick the returner catches the kick and the punter chases the returner so he doesnt score
