un-think tank

An organization that devises ways of consolidating power among the elite, by reducing Americans' ability to think.

All these false rumors about health care? They're turning ordinary citizens into screaming angry mobs. This is obviously the work of some sinister un-think tank.

Ego Seismic Thinking

WHEN YOU MOVE SOMEWHERE WHERE EARTHQUAKES ARE FREQUENT AND THERE HAVE NOT BEEN ANY QUAKES SINCE YOU MOVED AND YOU THINK IT'S BECAUSE YOU MOVED THERE.

Rhett: We haven't been in an earthquake since we moved to California!

Link: Maybe it's because we moved here, the quakes flee from us!!

Rhett: Link, that's Ego Seismic Thinking.

You think this is a game

A question you ask someone when they act like life is just a disposable waste

A question you ask someone when they act stupidly

James: "I skipped some of the homework you assigned."
Teacher: "You think this is a game, James?"

"You think this is a game, James" is not copyrightedยฎ

Thinking With His Dick

Going on a night out but not having a wank before you leave and thinking with your dick instead of your head.

Oh look at Shane thinking with his dick again.

Think with your balls

"Think with your balls" means think smart or outside the box. To think with your balls is usually a very quick and instinctive way of making decisions. It derives from the show "How Not To Live Your Life" A decision made by the balls is often a very good short term solution to a problem but will cause trouble in the future. Sometimes thinking with you balls is the complete opposite to thinking outside the box, it is so inside the box and obvious that no-one thought of it.

"What shall we do with all the orphans?"

"Sell them on, make a tidy profit."

"Thats amazing, how did you think of that! Now were making loads of money."

"Think with your balls lad!"

Think Outside of the Box

An unoriginal phrase/cliche following a conventional way of thinking used to encourage original thought and unconventional thinking, asking you do challenge the paradigm in a phrase that doesn't challenge the paradigm. Saying "Think Outside of the Box" is "Thinking Inside of the Box". This is similar in this aspect to the phrase "avoid cliches like the plague", warning against using cliches through the use of a cliche.

Boss: THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX, PEOPLE!
Employee: (quietly) Okay, since you're obviously not...

Jack: THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX!1
Ellen: Yeah, that's good advice. Maybe you should take it.

Back-of-the-Mask Thinking

When the crisp-and-crude method of calculation, which yields an approximate instead of an exact answer to a problem, is done on a mask rather than on an envelope or a napkin.

With billions of people wearing a face mask to shield themselves against the coronavirus, the back-of-the-mask thinking is a lifelong guesstimation skill math teachers and tutors worldwide ought to promote to students during this pandemic crisis.
