The movement that campaigns for equal rights for both sexes, which is commonly thought of as "Man-hating" and "Sexism" despite not being anything to do with that. That is the definition of radical feminism, who give the real feminists a bad name.

A doctrine, originally formulated during the 18th and 19th century as women's emancipation and suffragetism, that advocated the emancipation of women and attempts to get everyone else to recognize that women have equal rights to men.
Modern feminism is characterized by its doctrine of 'expanding choice for both genders', as feminists ostensibly desire a society where not only women may be allowed to do whatever they please (within reasonable, human limits), but to also allow men to enjoy the same freedoms as women should, which should include the choice of NOT doing something, if they do not wish to do so.
Unfortunately, thanks to misunderstanding and human nature, nobody really believes in this shit anymore, and people stereotypically associate feminists with hairy-armpit owning dykes who hate all men, and opponents of feminists as hairy boorish pig-subhumans.
It's fucking sad, but feminism is a great example of why humanity is a damn sight dumber than everyone likes to believe.

where women believe that they should be EQUAL TO men. not to be confused with feminazi, where women believe that they should be more powerful than men. despite common misconception, feminism is not, let me quote, “the idea that stupid ugly women believe and say they should get the same rights as men, and then claim superiority to men. they believe that men should still hold doors for them and pull out their chairs and treat them like queens. when in fact they should get of their fucking high horse and do it themselves. don’t expect equality when you believe in your superiority. Feminism has 3 waves. The first two waves pushed for rights and for women, like voting. THE DEFINITION of feminism is equality between men and women. Not complicated, right? Well, third wave feminism is pushing to eliminate the patriarchy by creating a matriarchy.
I used to be a feminist, until feminism evolved into what it is today. Lol

The belief that women should have equal rights and be treated the same as men in jobs for example, where men often have higher paychecks than women for the exact same job.
In some jobs, a woman would be called something different than a man, and the title the man has often sounds more powerful.
Example: Teacher, Professor
Feminism is not about hating men, it’s primarily about women having the same rights as men, because men have more rights in the majority of the world. That’s why some feminists can get a little frustrated when people say “mens rights”, because men already have the rights that we want to have, that’s the entire point of the movement.
Woman: I support feminism, so I won’t let you give him a higher paycheck than me for the same job.
