A way to explain things no-one can explain(or even sometimes things people can explain) without need for explination or actual proof by saying something along the lines of "faith not needing proof". peolpe then wrote a pointless book in this fictional characters name that not only contradicts itself but in many cases makes no sense at all or can be proved wrong (if it is proved wrong people still pretend it isn't for no reason(see above)). some wierd people then devoted their lives to trying to follow the teachings of this book to get in to the "magical cloud world" it describes.
The arguement for God creating the world because it's so complex boils down to "If it's complicated, a magical cloud being must have made it."

The most influential fictional idea ever created. The concept of God was and is used to control weak and stupid people who are too scared to accept the fact that when we die it's all over. Power hungry people take advantage of this greatest fear and offer a solution. The weak and stupid people are so desperate for a solution that they cling to it despite it's numerous flaws because it's the only "chance" they have to avoid eternal death. However in order to be worthy of God's grace, you have to do certain things. These things became the first laws which were set to control the masses. Wars, murders, rapes, pillages, robbing, persecutions, and countless other horrible atrocities have been committed in the name of God to justify them. And despite all we have learned from the human pursuit of knowledge, and despite our general education system, people still believe in God. Out of fear.
If a non believer goes to church once, nothing will probably happen. However if that non believer goes every Sunday, a lie told often enough becomes the truth. In other words, the human mind will eventually believe something it knows it is not truth if it hears it often enough. This is how church works. Have you noticed that "sins" are mostly our natural urges? A person struggling against their natural urges is going to be confused, feel worthless, lose confidence, and will turn to their bishop/pastor for answers. The bishop has the answer, God. God can save this unworthy person if this person does this, this, this, and that. This is how people get controlled.

an un-real "man". the early people of this planet needed a way to order us, realizing that fear can have great control. the came to the points of, if your bad during life, you'll burn for eternity when you die, but if your good during life, you'll live in paradise after death, all that just to have a few men be happier while living this pointless existance, thus i beleive nothing, choose what you may, but he's bull shit, besides. if he were real, there would have been picturs of him made from blood on cave walls other than naked guys chaseing deer with spears, if the first humans didnt know of him, how did some one way later discover him? they didnt, its was a cover for control

God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.
He is always there. just shout out His name and he will come and save you.

God doesn't hate you if you are Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, a Terrorist, a Rapist, a Murderer, a Muslim, a Jew, a Pagan.
God loves all of us.
Yes, even Christians sin and yes sometimes there are the ones that get extremists with their beliefs. But in reality, Good Christians that are not hateful and are educated do exist.
Also people say that God is a murderer, there is something called free will. I can go rob someone if i want and God will not stop me. He allowed all of the disasters to happen to open the eyes of people. And yes, death is a part of life, everyone has their time, i might have my time in years or in a couple of minutes.
People call us uneducated saying that the Big Bang started the World but there isn't sufficient proof. Yet for the Bible people say it is not enough proof, it is. Faith brings the answer.
Okay, I know that some people might not believe in him, but insulting him and us won't do much. It's our belief, we choose to live this way.

I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask you to forgive me. The Christian god, and my Lord...I honestly pity u pplz who r lyk dissin him on this site. If u think God doesn't exist, thatz fine, but think 2 urself...if there was no god, then wouldn't everything be possible? Aftr all, there hasta be sum1 who put the limits on existence.
Why does God not annhial8 evil if he iz so benevolent? Becuz, even tho he iz all powerful, he still acknowledges the balance in his universe. Without evil, there would be no good, and without good there would be no evil. If evil was destroyed completely, all of our actions would be good, therefore making us do the same actions as God. then we'd get arrogant and say we're as good as him, then he'd hafta kill us all...not fun
Oh yes, and GOD H8S NO1, NOT HOMOSEXUALS, BISEXUALS, WITCHES, PAGANS, NEOPAGANS, TERRORISTS, GANGSTAZ OR EVEN OSAMA.
