Unit Test

A test for 8th grade steam students that usually makes a kid really socially distant. Its a culture. Most people give up studying. The average grade is a D- (passing).

If you get a Unit test and you haven't studied, shit.

Nerd: "Anyone study for the Unit test"
Everyone: "When is that"
Nerd: "Today"
Everyone: "shi-"

sealed unit

The desired result of completely sealing something up.

Usually the result of the act of clothing oneself against the elements, commonly seen at UK festivals when festival-goers wear head-to-toe waterproof gear. It is often the case that a successfully sealed unit only occurs when an all-in-one waterproof suit has been used as the sealing agent.

Chrissy: I am definitely damp inside my waterproof jacket and trousers and it's not from trying to pee in a cup to save me going to the portaloos. My sealed unit is compromised.
Mark: I am a completely sealed unit in my all-in-one.

Vaginal Unit

Colloquial term of a usually possessive nature indicating a female with whom one is either emotionally or physically intimate. Usually refers to a wife or girlfriend, although it can be extended to a fuck buddy, or even a platonic relationship, of close enough. This is similar to the informal use of the word "bitch" among girlfriends, but applicable to male usage.

Clair and I aren't dating, but she's just about the coolest vaginal unit I've met since college, you should totally meet her!

united front

When disparate groups or individuals band together to work on a project or achieve a goal together. For example, several non-profits may present a united front to support or oppose legislation that would affect the people they serve, even though they may otherwise compete for contracts against one another.

The term was originally based on its military applications in terms of different forces allying against common enemies, and also used in terms of revolution and reform movements against common foes.

Although they often disagreed about parenting methods, Bob and Jane decided they would have to have a united front when dealing with Billy's Internet addiction.
